Estelí Women’s School
During the month of April, the Estelí Women’s School had a total matriculation of 130 students for our women only classes held three nights a week with 130 women students of whom over 70 benefit from a scholarship. Attendance over the last month has averaged 88%. Our current teaching staff are:

As part of its integral personal development approach to women’s education the course has included weekly talks on preventive health, feminine hygiene, importance of self-esteem, domestic violence as well as starting and running a small business. Our prevenitve health program supports the Estelí WOmen’s School providing free gynecological care to all the women students by a doctor from the local municipal health center who is able to provide timely follow up to tests such as papanicolau examinations.
