Outreach activities of the ICES Program addressing domestic violence

Our ICES program addressing domestic violence and related issues continues its community activities providing psychosocial care and follow-up to women and their families as well as offering educational activities for the communities where those families live. Of especial importance is the work the program does in the local maternity shelter which cares for women from remote rural areas in the last weeks of their pregnancy. The ICES team coordinates these talks and workshops closely with the Ministry of Health personnel who administer the shelter.
