The Secondary School for Women, celebrates Nicaragua’s diverse culture
In the month of October, students of teh Estelí Women’s School celebrated the Day of Indigenous, Black and Popular Resistance as part of recovering Nicaragua’s diverse culture and rescuing important aspects of these significant dates, as well as celebrating World Food Day, holding exhibitions of typical Nicaraguan foods, to promote learbing about Nicaraguan gastronomy and how it has been evolving.
In addition, in coordination with the Ministry of Education, the students of this project made an exhibition about their life projects, and how they contribute to the social economy of Nicaragua.
Also, our women students also took part in English reinforcement classes provided by students of the local campus of the Nicaragua’s National Autonomous University. These classes are of great importance for the development of our students anguage and cultural skills.
