Project against domestic violence in the month of November

The ices team addressed the issue of Conflict Resolution at the rest home for pregnant women, where 11 women participated, taking into account that most women are from different communities far from the city of Esteli, who have different customs and ways of seeing life. They also talked about well-being and lifestyle, emphasizing that family, friends, co-workers, neighbors can influence the way in which one can live, that is, the way in which each of the tasks of daily living are done.

On the other hand, the team is carrying out a training with a global Psychological approach within the framework of the internationalization of the curriculum and the promotion of virtual mobility, the international course of updating and professional strengthening in psychosocial care has begun, facilitated by Family Institute, Boston-United States and the local campus of the Nicaragua National Autonumus university.

Teachers and students of the Psychology and Social Work careers participate, to strengthen their knowledge about the use of tools and strategies for evaluation and intervention in psychosocial and community care, as well as updating in the area of psychosocial care, with emphasis on emergency and crisis situations.
