Medical brigade to Isidrillo, Estelí

On March 24th, in coordination with the local Health Ministry (MINSA) Superemos facilitated a medical brigade in the community of Isidrillo just outside the city of Estelí. This brigade consisted of specialists in pediatrics, dentistry, internal medicine, gynecology and psychology as well as general medical practitioners, nurses and laboratory personnel. The group saw a total of 175 patients including over forty children. The Superemos team working to prevent domestic violence saw three patients. The group was again accompanied by three medical students and two social work students from the local campus of Nicaragua's National Autonomous University.
