August activities of the secondary school project for women

Our secondary education program for women students currently has 88% attendance, with a retention of students from the initial matriculation of 91%. The scholarship recipients participated in presentations on the various subjects of their course of study.

A talk on the National Economy was given, with the support of the PhD. Agustín Velloso, friend and fellow educator ,with active participation of the students for this topic.Dr. Velloso also gave support to university students (FAREM-ESTELÌ-UNAN Managua), and offered reinforcement to our women scholarship students who have had difficulties in mathematics, English and literature.

Our program encourages collaborative and cooperative ways of studying so as to promote the practice of solidarity among our students as well as positive social values via reinforcement of psychological attention to women students who may have problems of self-esteem, for which we have support from psychology students of the local FAREM-Estelí campus of the National Autonomous University .
