Women's secondary education classes - September 2020

The Estelí Women’s School continues our secondary education program for women from low income families. Our scholarship program enable over 60 women to finish their baccalaureate which has become a prerequisite in Nicaragua to be able to aspire to secure employment. In total our classes serve over 200 students, the great majority of whom are women. All our classes are night classes because almost all our students work during the day. The school schedules Mondays and Tuesdays for women only classes and Wednesdays and Thursdays for mixed classes. We continue to make sure our students have transport back to their barrios at night after class
