Visit to Municipal Refuse Dump by the Rains of Love Program

Rains of Love is a project of the “Christine King” Multi-Service Cooperative supported by Superemos based on alternative natural medicine and a holistic approach to patient care. In August the the project visited the community that has grown up around the Municipal Refuse Dump located near the urban area of Estelí. The program workers explained to local people everything that the natural medicine project does and that this visit was aimed at training and sharing the different tools that Mother Earth gives us for medicinal use. Thus, one of the topics discussed was: The implementation of a healthy diet, along with an explanation about the different plants and vegetables that can be used for treating different ailments via natural medicine. A total of 19 people of different ages were present at this visit and showed their interest in and commitment to making use of natural medicine. Medical attention was also provided to these people in the form of bioenergetic examinations and therapeutic massages
