The project Against Domestic Violence (ICES) offering lectures in rural communities
For the ICES project seel¡king to address problems of domestic violence it is of great importance to facilitate training on topics of social interest and problematic issues within the context of where people live.
In the month of June, accompaniment and legal advice was provided to a mother to make an appointment at the Family Ministry for maintenance, in the maternal care center (a health ministry shelter allowing pregnant women to finish their gestational stage), a talk was given on resilience in which 16 women participated, some things were shared with them about the importance of being able to be assertive in a way similar to resilience.
The ICES team also offers different talks, legal accompaniment and psychosocial care in 5 rural communities of Esteli to continue to combat domestic violence.
