ICES project - Community visits and support to Women and Children Police Unit.

Among its many other activities, the ICES project visited the Puertas Azules community about 90 minutes drive from the city of Estelí, holding a workshop on the prevention of violence in the home. The objective of the workshop was to help participants identify cases that may require psychological support and follow-up assistance when necessary. The project also provided support to the Women and Children Police Unit for a patient from the Puertas Azules community in Esteli.

The team also traveled to the community of La Pacaya, located in San Nicolas, where they held workshops about promoting family values in the home as well as following up cases psycho-social support for patients identified during previous visits.
