Project against domestic violence

The program conmtinued with visits to the health posts of San Nicolás, La Trinidad and the communities of Estelí with the objective of providing psychological care and talks on the prevention of violence and promoting family well-being as well as motivational talks to patients.

One of the cases attended was reported to the person in charge of the health post of her sector, where a 13 year old boy was suffering from domestic violence by his biological father. The ICES team scheduled a follow up visit in coordination with the Ministry of Family, Adolescence and Childhood to evaluate the situation and then proceed to seek solutions to this problem.
