Preschool preventive dental care program - November 2021

At the end of November we were able to continue the preventive dental health care program organized by Boston’s Henry S. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Every three months we try and ensure that around 600 to 700 children attending preschools in the city of Estelí receive an application of fluoride varnish as well as support helping the pre-school educators encourage good dental hygiene practice among the children they care for and the children’s parents. We are very grateful both to Boston University’s School of Dental Medicine and to the Ministry of Health and the Ministry fo the Family’s delegations here in Estelí for making this program possible.
