Medical brigade in the community of Santa Clara in the municipality of San Nicolas.

On the 8th of April a medical brigade was carried out with doctors working for MINSA from the department of Esteli, continuing with this year's brigades in coordination with each community health post, with the UNAN/FAREM-Esteli who have enabled the support of medical students and in this way we have been able to reach more patients.

During this outing the following specialities were offered: Odontology (25 patients), Ultrasound (32 ultrasounds including 5 prostate), Gynaecology (17 patients and 7 prenatal check-ups), Internal Medicine (24 patients), Natural Medicine (11 massages and consultations), Nursing (23), Laboratory (270 examinations), General Consultation (34 patients), Paediatrics (29 boys and girls under 12 years) attending a total of 119 patients from the Santa Clara sector, with a participation of 75 women, 29 boys and girls and 15 men.

This would not be possible without the hard work of the nursing and medical staff of the community health posts and above all the community leaders who always watch over the development of their sector.
