Medical Brigade from Dot House Health

This year thanks to the support of Dot House Health in Boston and many friends and supporters we have again been able to host a medical brigade to provide care to rural communities near Estelí. The group arrived on Saturday accompanied by two colleagues from the Univerrsity of Boston’s Faculty of Social Work. We spent Sunday February 11th finalizing arrangements for the brigade’s program and packing the medicines and inputs for the first visit which will be to a remote rural community in the municipality of San Nicolás. We are veyr grateful to everyone who has made this important activity possible as well as to the local health authority here in Estelí for allowing us to coordinate the brigade’s program with local health posts.
