Start of fluoride application in community CDIs

This week starting on September 9th we began the third quarterly application of fluoride varnish in local preschools. This activity benefits more than 800 children allowing them to have better dental health and oral hygiene and avoiding potential disease. These quarterly applications would not be possible without the support of the Ministry of the Family, Adolescence and Children, who coordinate the local preschools and ensure that the school directors and their teachers collaborate actively, learn how to do the fluoride varnish application and promote good dental care and oral hygiene.
