July Medical Brigade in the community of Jicaro Municipality of San Nicolas

As a closing of the Brigades of the year 2022, we closed in the community of Jicaro de San Nicolas, with an attendance of 234 patients who were benefited with the specialties of Pediatrics with 38 patients, Internal Medicine with 48 patients including 17 males, Natural Medicine with 15 patients, 20 women attended with the specialty of Gynecology, 15 Orthopedics, 14 Surgery, 22 Dentistry, 26 General Consultation, 44 Ultrasound and 672 laboratory tests.

It is worth mentioning that this wonderful work would not be possible without the coordination between MINSA, the community leaders and the health personnel of each community health post who work hand in hand with the population of their sectors and ask the Foundation for the medicine and specialties that are needed.

Also to the University UNAN-Managua/Farem Esteli who have participated through the students of Social Work and Medicine supporting us in each of the outings to the communities, attending and exercising their knowledge with love, empathy and humanism.

We can say that this year has been hard because of the weather changes but the results in the 3 municipalities of Esteli have been satisfactory, since we have reached at least 1500 people offering multidisciplinary care.
