Graduation ceremony of the Estelí Women's School 2024

The Estelí Women’s School (in Spanish, Centro Integral de Superación Cultural de Mujeres) opened in 1999. This is the 22nd Graduation ceremony for its baccalaureate program. The school gaurantese women only classes for low income women, mainly workers in the local cigar factories, many of whom are single mothers. We take pride in noting that we have made it possible for thousands of low income women to complete their secondary education and go on to study in higher education. We express our deep appreciation and thanks to all our donors and remember with especial thanks Bob Barr of the Barr Foundation of Oklahoma (RIP) who founded this program with us over twenty years ago.
