Cultural exchange with artists who founded the Estelí Mural School

As part of the music, dance and art education project, we held a cultural exchange and presentation of a film based on the beginning of mural art education in Nicaragua. Different muralists from Nicaragua participated to celebrate the life and work of the muralism teachers Janeth Pavone and Daniel Hopewell who visited Estelí in March.

Muralists from the “Leonel Rugama” Cultural Center, Nicaraguan singer-songwriter Leopoldo Urrutia, and colleagues from the “Siro Molina” Mural and Mosaic School as well as students from various Estelí cultural education centers were present creating a space to promote muralism and sharing knowledge with love, culture and dedication to the teaching of art and painting
