Boston University Social Work Team

As in previous years, a team from the Boston University Faculty of Social Work accompanied the Dot House Health medical brigade this year and also carried out a program of visits to local university facilities both in Estelí and Somoto and to local communities near Estelí. The team was led by Dr. Luz López and focused on local experiences of interdisciplinary approaches to address domestic violence. The group was also accompanied by Lyn Styczinski and Len Greenberg who over the last several years have facilitated training activities for local professionals in Nicaragua together with Dr. López and her team both in person and on line.
